Come to the Waters | Women’s Retreat
As spring ripens into summer, we gather at Idyllwood to rest beside still waters and let the season carry us forward in its gentle current. This women’s retreat invites you to slow down and listen — to the sound of rain on leaves, the rhythm of your own breath, and the quiet call toward renewal. Through reflection, conversation, and time by the pond and creek, we’ll explore the ways water restores and reminds us to flow with ease, to soften what feels rigid, to nourish what is ready to grow. Come thirsty; leave replenished and alive.
Barn Quilt Workshop
Join us for a day of creativity, craftsmanship, and connection at Idyllwood as we gather in the barn to create our own painted barn quilts—bold, geometric designs inspired by traditional quilting patterns. Guided step-by-step, you’ll design and paint a wooden quilt square (or rectangular piece), choosing colors and patterns that reflect your own story and aesthetic.
Idyllwood Summer Gathering
As summer begins to unfold, we invite you to spend a day at Idyllwood.
Join us on Saturday, June 20 for a relaxed, family-friendly gathering—an opportunity to be outside, connect with others, and enjoy a slower rhythm together. You’re welcome to come for any part of the day. This is not a formal event; rather an open invitation to come as you are, bring your family or a friend, and experience Idyllwood in the summertime.
Breathe the Wild Air | Women’s Retreat
Join us on October 3 for a day of connection, creativity, and renewal. Co-facilitated by Allison El Koubi and Lauren Ramseur, this women’s retreat invites you to pause from daily routines and attune to the element of air — through intentional breath, mindful walking in the woods, psithurism (the sound of wind in trees), and circle gatherings. Together we’ll hike, reflect, create, stretch, share nourishing meals, and sit fireside, all while deepening connection to ourselves, each other, and the wild air around us.
Tend the Fire | Women’s Retreat
As the nights grow longer and the days colder, join us in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains for a women’s retreat centered on warmth, coziness, and connection. This day of reflection and renewal will invite you to embrace the hygge spirit — gathering around fire, tending to your own inner spark, and finding the oxygen you need to thrive as we enter the holiday season.
Tend the Soil | Women's Retreat
As winter loosens its hold, we turn toward the earth—toward what grounds, nourishes, and sustains us. This women’s retreat invites us into a day of stillness and renewal, where tending the soil becomes a metaphor for tending the soul. Together we’ll root into what matters most, investing in rest, connection, and the quiet work beneath the surface that makes all growth possible.
