Join us for a day of creativity, craftsmanship, and connection at Idyllwood as we gather in the barn to create painted barn quilts—bold geometric designs inspired by traditional quilting patterns and folk art. Guided step-by-step, you’ll design and paint your own wooden quilt square or rectangular piece, choosing colors and patterns that reflect your personal style and story.
No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to play with color and form. Participants will leave with a finished (or nearly finished) piece ready to be sealed and displayed indoors or outdoors.
Set against the natural beauty of Idyllwood, this workshop offers more than just art-making—it’s an opportunity to slow down, work with your hands, and enjoy meaningful community. Whether you arrive with a design in mind or prefer to be inspired on-site, you’ll be supported in creating something uniquely your own.
